š” How to Get Rich [for the unlucky]
Pulse #130 ā You can be wealthy, but you have to really really want it.
Iām a big fan of Naval. His āHow to Get Rich (without getting lucky)ā Twitter thread/podcast/transcript is something I tend to read/listen to once every couple of months.
Not just because I want to get rich, but also because in it, Naval talks about a framework to free up your time ā and thatās the true wealth Iām looking for.
Having listened to Naval a lot, last week ā when I was off Clubhouse (for a few hours)ā I spotted another version of the same ideas by Stratecheryās Ben Thompson talking to James Allworth about āSovereign Podcastersā and read his accompanying post āSovereign Writers and Substack.ā
I think the ideas in these linked articles and podcasts have the potential to change your life. Think about getting paid for doing what you loveā¦ Thatās basically the super-simplified idea hereā¦ or think about it as not going/being somewhere you donāt want to go/be when you donāt want to go/beā¦
And the main points are
itās possible [thanks to the internet]
you can do it because you are the best at something [which is being yourself]
and all you need to do is to find your true fansā¦
i never said itās easy. and thereās more to come on this topicā¦
