Hey, Pulse fam!
How’s it going? I know, I’m a bit late — but better late than never, right?
So, Friday’s Intersection #3 ended up on Hacker News yesterday… And not everyone’s a big fan of NFTs, apparently 😁
Anyways, hope you enjoy this week’s Pulse. I’m taking next week off. See you in February!

A conversation with Josh Wardle (of Wordle)
If you follow me on Twitter or Instagram, you probably have the square patterns I post in green and yellow and black. Those are from Wordle; a free puzzle game made by a software engineer for his partner — but you should already know this ‘coz I talked about Worlde last week in Pulse #160!
Last week, he was interviewed by TechCrunch about Wordle and its future and its origin story… It’s worth a read.
‘People have an appetite for things that transparently don’t want anything from you.’

3-2-1
If you’ve read Pulse in the past year or so, you’re not unfamiliar with my interest in James Clear and his book, Atomic Habits.
Today’s newsletter, is a free weekly newsletter by James Clear, with 3 ideas from him, 2 quotes from others, and 1 question. It’s one of those newsletters I look forward to reading every week. Here’s one idea from James in an issue a couple of weeks ago that stuck with me:
“The longer you're a teacher, the less you remember what it is like to be a student.
The longer you're a doctor, the less you remember what it is like to be a patient.
The longer you're a coach, the less you remember what it is like to be a player.
Change positions. A new perspective can improve your old methods.”
— James Clear, 3-2-1 Newsletter
This is such a simple but important idea, articulated very well. We get used to thinking the way we think and we tend not to put ourselves in others’ shoes… Well, we should — more often!

If you’re a regular Twitter user, you probably have some valid criticisms about Twitter experience on the web — and one would definitely be how cluttered it is.
Minimal Theme for Twitter is a browser extension that declutters your experience on Twitter’s web app.
I recently have discovered it and it’s quickly become a favourite tool of mine. I think you’ll enjoy this one.
