Something worth making
Having an idea is essential, but it’s not the most critical part of starting something. Some things are hard to start, and starting them means a lot, like starting a business.
When it comes to content, it’s not really hard to start creating/curating content, especially, if you’re somehow suddenly inspired to do so. However, it’s a lot harder to consistently do it. Week in, week out, when you don’t have a big audience or an inspiring incident. It’s hard to push for consistency.
Sending out Pulse every Sunday has not been easy. There’s always something else I could be doing instead of writing this newsletter, but for the 100th time, I have decided not to do something else — and do this.
This is just to prove to myself that I can be consistent, and Pulse is something worth making; and that I care about it (and everyone who chose to read Pulse instead of doing something else!) and am proud of it.
Thank you for being with me on this journey. I’m doing my best to keep delivering Pulse to your inbox every week…
If you found Pulse interesting, please share it with a friend or colleague, and ask them to subscribe to it. Teach them if they don’t know how. Thank you.

Time Spent With Streaming Audio is Also Growing Amid the COVID-19 Pandemic
It’s not just OTT and pay-TV viewing that have seen an increase in use since the beginning of the coronavirus. Audio streaming has also been on the rise as people spend more time in their homes. Indeed, per recent data from Comscore, US households have increased their average daily audio streaming by almost one hour…

🐦 TWEETS of the WEEK
the evolution of "lol" from "laughing out loud" to "it's not actually funny but i don't know what to say here that makes this less awkward or earnest" in our internet language is very interesting.
May your self-doubt diminish, and your heart begin to open wide.
